For 50 years, Newfortis Sacco has emerged as one of the country’s most stable financial cooperatives, where members are guaranteed high annual returns on their investments.
Earlier this year, Newfortis Sacco members received a dividend windfall of over Ksh 993.98 million, pointing to the Society’s outstanding financial performance for the fiscal year 2024. Members earned dividends on shares at an attractive rate of 14% and rebates on deposits at 13%.
But dividends aside! Our Sacco’s greatest success has been uplifting members’ livelihoods by offering affordable credit facilities. In 2024 alone, we disbursed over Ksh 8.73 billion in loans.
Nyeri Governor Dr. Mutahi Kahiga, who graced the County 103rd Ushirika Day celebrations, commended the Sacco for its role in promoting its members’ social and economic growth. “I encourage our youth to join cooperatives like Newfortis Sacco.
