- Marketing Executive
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business development initiatives to grow market presence.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
- Manage client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Promote and sell advertising packages, subscriptions, and digital products.
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns and sales strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs.
- Prepare sales reports and meet set sales targets.
- Represent the company at events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development (media industry experience is an added advantage).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong client relationship management abilities.
- Self-driven, outgoing, and target-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in basic digital marketing tools.
- Journalist / Reporter
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, write, and edit high-quality news stories, articles, and features for print and digital platforms.
- Cover events, interviews, and press briefings relevant to the cooperative and business sectors.
- Generate fresh story ideas and maintain a strong network of contacts.
- Ensure accuracy, fairness, and clarity in all reporting.
- Collaborate with editors, videographers, photographers, and the production team to meet deadlines.
- Uphold ethical journalism standards and editorial guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple assignments.
- Good understanding of the cooperative, business, and economic sectors (an added advantage).
- Excellent communication and interviewing skills.
- Proficiency in digital journalism, videography and social media content creation.
