How KNPDTS Unites Members for Prosperity

At the Kenya National Police DT Sacco, our financial services cover every sector of the economy nationwide, including agriculture, finance, housing, healthcare, education, energy, retail, industry, and services. For decades, we have demonstrated that a values-driven approach to business can create real and lasting solutions, establishing us as a benchmark for others seeking to adopt best practices.

As a result, our SACCO has consistently been recognized as the best-managed co-operative society in the country, achieving record-breaking performance year after year.

We have transformed the financial landscape through innovative approaches and the delivery of high-quality products and services.

The support and impact of our SACCO extend beyond business loans. For example, the Kenya National Police DT SACCO has renovated and expanded an old dispensary in Ruiru, Kiambu County, transforming it into a modern level-two health facility. This facility serves not only police families but also the wider community.

In addition, we funded the construction of Police Sacco Stadium to promote sporting activities and nurture youth talent.

As a SACCO that operates on a human-centered business model prioritizing people over profit, we aim to transform lives and create a better world for all through Corporate Social Investment. We strive to bring smiles to those in need, support the vulnerable in society, and unite communities for prosperity. Our operations are designed to meet the needs of our members and the community.

One of our notable initiatives is our sponsorship and mentorship program for needy and vulnerable students. The Sacco supports the educational dreams of the children of our deceased members, helping them achieve their aspirations from secondary school to university. More than 281 students have benefited from this program.

Volleyball Kits and Equipment Donations

The Kenya National Police DT SACCO donated volleyball kits and equipment to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Volleyball Team.

The handover ceremony, which took place recently, was led by the SACCO National Chairman David Sohelo Mategwa, OGW, HSC, DSA ICUDE, in the company of GM Operations and Strategy Simon Tanui and Marketing Manager Ann Njuguna. The kits were received by DCI Director of Personnel Francis Ndiema, accompanied by DCI Sports Officer Raaria Muriuki and KVF Marketing Commission Chairman Paul Bitok.

This initiative underscores the SACCO’s belief in the power of sports to unite, inspire, and uplift communities. The SACCO is dedicated to empowering its members beyond financial services.
