Registered in 1972, the Jamii Sacco operates on open membership with its head offices at Mariakani South B along Mukenia Road.
With a membership of about 18,000, the society has moved from strength to strength as it seeks to become a critical financial player in the country.
Its critical pillars are largely driven by the need to provide financial solutions, affordable credit, mobilizing savings, and innovative products and services to ensure optimum returns to members and stakeholders.
The Sacco offers a wide range of products and services to suit the unique needs of its members.
The plan was guided by financial Performance, Member/ Customer Service and Market Performance, focus and Improve on Processes, Systems and People, and Technology and Innovation.
To further cement its position in the country as an effective mobilizing agent, the society established Jamii Housing co-operative society limited for its members with a vision to opening it up to the general public.
