Kenya will be receiving the mantle to host the 24th SACCA Congress 2024.
The Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Co-operatives and MSMEs Development Simon Chelugui revealed this during a Consultative breakfast meeting on preparedness status for the 23rd SACCA congress. He was flanked by Principal Secretary of State Department for Co-operatives Patrick Kilemi.
The African Confederation of Co-operative Savings and Credit Association (ACCOSCA) is organizing the 23rd SACCA (Savings and Credit Cooperative Annual) Congress to be held from 8th-13th October 2023 at Gaborone, Botswana.
Cooperative leaders and managers were encouraged to attend the SACCA Congress in Botswana.
The CS noted that High-ranked Cooperative CEOs from America will visit in the country November this year. SACCOs to be visited include Kenya National Police SACCO, Boresha SACCO, and Imarisha SACCO.
