Nairobi and Kiambu have the highest number of registered cooperative societies, according to the Nationwide Co-Operative Sector Baseline Survey.
On the other hand, Garissa, Narok, and Tana River Counties have the highest percentage of financially excluded adults at 34.3%, 31.2%, and 26.7%, respectively, according to the 2022 FinAccess Household Survey-COUNTY PERSPECTIVE published by the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK).
