| Member associations and credit unions of the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) are invited to participate in the Digital Growth Award.
The WOCCU is now accepting nominations for the 2025 Digital Growth Award, which honors credit union associations or individual credit unions that have made significant strides in digital transformation in alignment with the Challenge 2025 initiative. To be eligible, nominees must demonstrate the implementation of a digital solution that meets the following criteria: – Inclusive: The solution enhances financial access for underserved communities. – Innovative: It introduces ground-breaking advancements within your organization, leading to cost reduction, improved operational efficiency, or enhanced member experience. – Scalable: The solution should be scalable or replicated by other credit unions or associations in their respective regions. Elissa McCarter LaBorde, WOCCU President and CEO, stated, “As we reach 2025, it’s inspiring to witness credit unions implementing digital solutions that foster financial inclusion and strengthen communities worldwide. We hope to receive a record number of nominations this year to showcase the diverse contributions being made by credit unions to serve underserved populations.” Nominations for the 2025 awards must be submitted by a member association of the World Council or a credit union associated with these organizations by 5:00 p.m. (CST) on Friday, March 7, 2025. An independent panel of judges, consisting of digital financial experts within the credit union industry and beyond, will review all submissions and determine the award recipients. Winners of the Digital Growth Award will receive a complimentary registration to the 2025 World Credit Union Conference (WCUC), set to take place in Stockholm, Sweden, from July 14-16. Award recipients will be recognized at WOCCU’s Annual General Meeting in Stockholm on Monday, July 14.
