Kenya police Sacco has been recognized for its innovation in digital transformation that has ensured most of its services are available online.
The third largest deposit taking Sacco in the country according to Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (Sasra) won another incredible Gold award in the recent CIO 100 Annual Awards Competition. It received recognition of excellence in enterprise information and technology adoption in the Sacco sub-sector.
“We will continue to enhance our Digital transformation to offer best banking solutions that give our members best experience,” the Sacco said in a statement.
The new award comes hot on the heels after Global Credit Ratings (GCR) rated the Sacco high based on its strong capital base and healthy liquidity.
The South African rating agency said the Sacco’s long and short-term issuer ratings of BBB (KE) and A3(KE) reflect a capital position that is structured around strong member capital contributions, supported by historically good internal capital generation.
The Sacco has been on the forefront to offer digital services in fight to the Covid-19 pandemic.
