The establishment of the Meru Maziwa Millers Ltd, valued at Ksh100 million, marks a significant stride towards revolutionizing dairy farming in the region.
Located on a sprawling five-acre plot, the state-of-the-art mill is poised to transform the dairy industry by offering high-quality feeds at competitive prices. This initiative is expected to decrease the cost of dairy feeds substantially, leading to an uptick in milk production, enhanced food security, and a boost in the industrialization efforts within the county.
Beyond the immediate benefits of dairy farming, the project is set to contribute to the agricultural value chain significantly.
