A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step. As we celebrate 30 years since inception, we are indebted to our like-minded pioneers who sat down and hatched Kiambu Tea Growers Sacco Limited back in 1992. The humble beginning of 72 tea farmers has thrived to achieve over 80,000 members. We are no longer serving tea farmers only; after opening the common bond in the year 2009 and rebranded to Tai Sacco Society Limited, our wings have spread all over the country and in the diaspora. Currently, we serve our members in 10 branches across Kiambu and Nairobi Counties and have over 70 agencies. Transactions on M – Banking platforms have taken root, with over 54,000 of our members registered on these channels.
Over the years, we have been evaluated, recognized and awarded in various competitions, including the Financial Reporting (FiRe Awards), Champion of Governance, COYA awards and many more.

Tai Sacco Society Limited has embraced CSR in its strategy to give back to society. A lot of community support has been carried out, including sponsoring students, health, and the environment. We also sponsor needy students and fully support them in achieving academic excellence. Our concern for environmental conservation is unparalleled. The Sacco participates in tree planting exercises at water reservoir areas to achieve a green environment.
