Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions (WFCU) on May 10 welcomed six new members to the International Credit Union Development Educators’ (I-CUDEs) global family as the Class of 2022.
A diverse group of professionals from across the international credit union movement qualified for the unique designation after completing the four criteria required for I-CUDE status.
The I-CUDE Class of 2022 is comprised of:
- Katrina Grant D’Aguilar, Jamaica (CaribDE)
- Kevin Lashley, Barbados (CaribDE)
- Angela Prestil, USA (NCUF)
- Anne Owuor, Kenya (Africa DE)
- Patrick Kiage, Kenya (Africa DE)
- Paul Norgrove, U.K. (DEEU)
Each of the six designees will be recognized during a July 18 celebration event at the 2022 World Credit Union Conference in Glasgow, Scotland.
WFCU coordinates the I-CUDE application and review process in partnership with the seven active CUDE programs worldwide. Inclusion to become an I-CUDE requires each applicant to complete their home country’s DE program, in addition to three other criteria.
Credit Union Development Educators commit themselves to living the cooperative principles embedded in the global credit union movement and within each country that is home to credit unions.
